Overview

Project Type: Website Redesign + Job Portal

Goal: Refresh the brand with a modern, engaging design, improve consistency, and introduce new functionality including pricing plans and a teacher-focused job portal.

Target Users:

  • Teachers (22–50 years old): Seeking training courses, resources, and career opportunities.

  • Institutions/Schools: Looking to hire trained teachers through the job portal.

Research & Discovery

I collaborated directly with the client to gather feedback and requirements.

Key insights from discovery:

  • The old design felt outdated and lacked consistency with the brand’s fun and modern identity.

  • Teachers wanted a simple way to browse and purchase courses.

  • The job portal needed to provide an easy search-and-apply experience.

  • Pricing packages were essential to highlight, as the client wanted to push high-value course bundles.

Competitor analysis:

  • Education platforms with strong visual branding and clear navigation were benchmarks.

  • Job portals emphasized clean search and filtering to minimize friction.

Personas

Persona 1: Rina (28, Primary School Teacher)

  • Wants: Affordable training courses, easy course purchase flow.

  • Preferences: Fun, engaging design with straightforward navigation.

  • Motivations: Career growth and recognition through certified courses.

Persona 2: Arif (40, School Administrator)

  • Wants: Reliable platform to find trained teachers.

  • Preferences: Job portal with efficient filters and application tracking.

  • Motivations: Hire competent teachers faster.

User Flows

I identified four critical user flows:

  1. Browse Courses: Homepage → Courses page → Course detail → Enroll/Purchase.

  2. Explore Pricing Packages: Homepage → Pricing page → Select plan → Checkout.

  3. Job Search & Apply: Homepage → Job portal → Search/filter jobs → Apply.

  4. Institution Hiring Flow: Job portal → Post job listing → Manage applications.

Wireframes

  • Created low-fidelity wireframes for homepage, courses, pricing, and job portal.

  • Mapped out consistent layouts to reflect the fun, educational brand identity.

  • Iterated into high-fidelity prototypes with feedback from client and stakeholders.

Final Design

Visual Direction:

  • Fun, modern, and consistent with the educational brand.

  • Clean typography, bright accents, and approachable UI.

  • Fully responsive design for mobile-first experience.

Key Screens:

  • Homepage: Highlights courses, job portal access, and pricing.

  • Courses Page: Grid-based layout with categories and quick enroll options.

  • Pricing Page: Showcases single courses and bundled packages.

  • Job Portal: Search and filter jobs with direct application flow.

  • Application Form: Simplified job apply form optimized for teachers.

Outcomes

The redesign and new job portal delivered:

  • Improved usability: Streamlined course purchase and job application flows.

  • Modern design: Fun, consistent branding across all pages.

  • New revenue opportunities: Highlighted high-value pricing plans and packages.

  • Career connection: Enabled teachers to find and apply for jobs directly on the platform.
